The Italian Actors Union through the years
has experienced many transitions as other theatrical unions and guilds emerged and jurisdictions were formed. The IAU is now
recognized as GIAA: Guild of Italian American Actors.
GIAA is committed to helping Advance, Promote, Foster and Protect the welfare of
its members not only within its own jurisdiction but with the jurisdictions of its sister unions.
GIAA serves
the purpose of preserving the history and awareness of Italian Heritage amongst its members.
